In Act 11, "What's Reflected in the Mirror," Alicia faces her father in an illusion. She sees she was happy with her mom and dad, but it hurts to lose that image—seeing a tweet about how shattering that painful dream is actually more agonizing really tugs at your heartstrings. Fun fact: Samantha’s name wasn’t in the original manga; Director requested it, and Mr. Ihara added it just for the anime. It feels like a name born specifically for this adaptation, which is pretty touching. Kren vs. Vodein’s one-on-one duel sounds awesome, especially with the twist that they’re fighting in a space only humanoid forms can enter. But man, it’s a shame they cut that frustrated reaction shot—it makes us viewers feel like we missed out! Plus, there are voice script giveaways, so I’m excited to hear the cast's voices too.
