Everyone's Reactions

The second season kicks off with a surprisingly quiet episode that’s mostly just one long stretch of dialogue, yet somehow manages to squeeze your heart. Knowing that the fast-food scene has been there since the audition made me totally resonate with how 'the worst' situation can also be the most memorable. I was on edge the whole time, wondering if their conversation would spill over now that Amamiya-kun is sitting right next to Yuki-chan. Momoka-chan keeps poking at Minato-kun again, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she’s doing it just to get under Koyun’s skin. Koyun articulating Yota’s feelings was genuinely tear-jerking. Meanwhile, Mihime is awkwardly dealing with the fallout after rejecting Yohata-kun’s confession, making you realize how complicated love really is. And that non-credit ED sequence paired with Superfly’s 'Hanekage'... I started crying as soon as it came on. The line about 'color and warmth slowly returning to a once-empty world' fits Koyun and the others’ relationship perfectly right now...
