The visuals shine bright during Tanjiro's first face-off with Muzan! His resolute, sister-loving demeanor is so touching it makes your heart swell.
It’s adorable how Muzan treats the Swamp Demon like a bullying boss, and his gentle voice when he’s pretending to be human is just so lovely. When Tanjiro yells, "Don't touch Nezuko!", you can really feel his one-track mind to protect his sister, and his deep family bonds hit you right in the feels. The Demon Slayer Corps members are full of grudges, but hearing that they’re actually a group of kind souls who went a bit crazy thanks to Muzan is surprisingly comforting. The animation and storyboard art are gorgeous, and I’m already looking forward to next week’s "Scent of Illusion." Plus, spotting Toshio Furukawa in a dual role was a nice bonus—this episode really felt like a rewarding rewatch!
