The comment about the weirdo making a kissy face at empty space was spot on. Since no one else around can see MP, it totally makes sense that they look like an oddball from the outside. Also, bringing out takoyaki right after the squid skewers felt like it was trampling over last week’s lingering vibes, which was so funny I couldn’t help but laugh. I get why the story feels stuck with two flashbacks crammed in. The scene where they’re laughing in the preview (abon) could’ve been used for a bigger plot point rather than just manga filler, so it felt a bit of a waste. And the receptionist’s deadpan response to such an obvious seduction attempt? Pure comedy gold. That single word 'Shooting!' instantly boosted her energy levels.
