With backgrounds and objects blurring together, sticky emotions get trapped in the glass, spreading a rich, lingering aftertaste like a perfect sake snack!
The humid, emotion-soaked visuals really captured Ibuki-chan's inner shifts, pulling me right into the screen. The indirect kiss through the cigarette and the background-focused shots felt fresh, and the way the pacing created such a strong emotional contrast showed off the director's skill. It seems the in-between and animation check staff also held onto their favorite original manga panels with care, and that sincerity really adds to the show's warmth. I'm excited for the next round of episodes, but I can't wait for Episode 6 on May 15th and the lovely illustration from the animation director!
