The finale is here, and I can't believe how quickly the two cour flew by. Kamei did his first voice acting role as Nagaku, and while he seemed a bit unsure at first, he quickly got into it and made it his own. Really impressive! Every time Shizuku was called 'Kamiaki Junior,' I could feel Toho-san's heart breaking just a little, which made me feel a bit sad too. It was refreshing to see Shizuku running while guzzling wine, and Toho in a fresh outfit instead of her usual brown double-breasted suit. The finale had that special final-episode charm. It was so heartwarming to see people going out of their way for the two of them. Plus, it was kind of funny how they were using company funds while running around. They say the story is still in its aging process, so I'd love to see more. Looks like there's a Blu-ray release too—I'm looking forward to diving back into that world.
