A marathon with free wine stations is basically on the verge of becoming a gag anime. Shizuku looks like he's pondering 'this taste...' as he runs, while Ichiko is off treating her subordinates to wine, both completely lost in their own worlds—it's so fun to watch. Plus, Makino seems to have joined them along the way to Bordeaux, which just adds to the chaotic vibe. The title 'A Gentle Fragrance from Faraway Days' sounds a bit melancholic, but the contrast with the quirky, unpredictable plot twists is really nice.
