The mountain-climbing drama of Shizuku and Isshiki, searching for wine under contrasting warm and cool lighting, is absolutely thrilling!
This episode has more tension than a typical mountain-climbing anime, and it was so fun watching Shizuku tackle the climb in search of wine. The lighting beautifully separated Shizuku’s warm-toned route from Isshiki’s cool-toned one, and Tak-san’s slip was breathtaking. Much like a tough dry wine, Toho’s past seemed to mirror the protagonist’s, making his father’s words resonate with a touch of melancholy. Now that they’ve safely reached the summit, I’m really curious to see what wine awaits next and where Shizuku goes from here.
