Even with Mishael out of the picture, the rest of the crew—carrying Lammis and Hakon on their backs—are bustling about in that charming, gacha-gacha way, which feels really heartwarming. I'm a bit worried if they can keep their promise to "cherish life," but seeing Hae-kun freely manipulate debuffs and even sprout wings makes me feel reassured that he's truly growing. The setting of the defense city transitioning into an agricultural hub during a ceasefire is also pretty cool; with the lower organizations' military incursions stacking up, I'm excited to see if the front lines will expand again. Hebei-chan's cute charm-avoiding glance away from her shoes is adorable too. This episode does a great job highlighting everyone's individual shines despite the protagonist being absent, leaving me very satisfied.
