Miya-chan and Mami, the sisters wrapped in wisteria flowers in the OP, are beautifully and swiftly brought to life!
The wisteria flowers in the OP really set the mood for Miya-chan and Mami—they were so lovely you’d want to look up their flower meanings! The story kicks off with a rapid-fire succession of events, like the mother’s passing and the adoption, but the title payoff is handled so well that you can’t help but get hooked without getting lost. The energy of the three Koudou family members is absolutely intense—maybe a bit headache-inducing—but that momentum is just so fun. I also really liked the new scenes depicting their poor days, which weren’t in the original manga; the contrast with their current mansion life came through perfectly, and details like the footstep sound effects and the cute jiggling of their cheeks were adorable. I’m also curious about how their personalities diverge so drastically, and I’m excited to see how things develop from here.
