Episode 1

Everyone's Reactions

Starting season 2 with an outfit change in the pre-season had my excitement through the roof. It’s exactly what you’d expect from Iceblade, truly wonderful. I was worried because season 1 set such a high bar, but they kept the same pace and sense of speed while fully leveraging the relationships built back then, so I’m relieved it wasn’t for nothing. Watching Ariane go through special training is just fun to watch. The sudden insertion of the Konami Code was sneaky; that scene made me burst out laughing. Seeing Master White as unchanged as ever reminded me all over again how much I love that consistent presence. The familiar outfits are comforting too. Next episode is "Putting on the Mask... Again." I’m dying to see if we get another mask scene and what kind of moment it’ll be.
