It’s kind of funny how they’re treating his past blunders as no big deal while he’s choking someone out. Since the person he choked was actually a poisoner, the comparison really works in his favor. Feifei is so tiny and cute. I can’t help but wonder what’ll happen when she flips her flag and becomes a yokai. The line "If I kill, it won’t be with the sword itself, but with the person wielding it" really stuck with me. It feels like she’s seeing through not just the weapon, but the intent behind the wielder. It’s interesting that people are saying Season 3 will keep delivering heartwarming moments for two episodes in a row while still bringing out that gritty, intense vibe. I was expecting a darker ending, so I was surprised when the monk got saved. Her decision to put Feifei into a 30-year slumber without killing her strikes a nice balance between honoring Taoyao’s request and serving her own interests—sweet but not sappy, decisive but not careless.
