Watch out for Yuureiken going overboard! It’s basically become their catchphrase: "When you can’t take the pain anymore, just use Yuureiken on it." The air has even gotten so thick that everyone assumes if a white butterfly flies by, it’s all over. Even though he’s technically the boss, hearing him get told to "get back to your post" and "who cares!" makes you wonder if their hierarchy is getting a little too loose. And when they say something buried underground is dangerous but nostalgic, you can’t help but be impressed by its true value. Also, the production team’s playful jab at us for not using the北斗神拳 explosion sound effect in the subtitles? Love it. The charm of this work really lies in the gap between those perfectly timed, serious moments and the sudden bursts of ecchi-anime-style dialogue.
