The Tiamo defense battle really shows that numbers matter. The Elf army swells to several hundred thousand troops, and you can really feel the sheer weight of numbers pressing down on them. It’s common to start over at Lv1 after a class change, but it was hilarious to see everyone get thrown off by the meta-reveal that the protagonist is actually from another world with the mental age of a 49-year-old. The fact that the Spirit King is actually a flying squirrel was also a nice surprise; despite being treated as a demigod, her casual tone adds a great charm. Everyone is running on fumes, but it looks like the魔族 from Laporca are coming next, so we’re in for more battles. With the anime-exclusive explanations woven in, this episode perfectly captured the perspective of a hardcore gamer.
