The Season 2 OP "○✕△□" and ED "Firetail" start off with romantic marshmallows and Choukyumei, instantly boosting the hype. I got it—since they use crystals to measure stats in the Academy City exams, there's no need for physical tests. It makes sense that they're considering those who've already maxed out their levels. Saint Clap is still going strong, and a retired gamer makes an appearance. The look of despair on their face when their stats are appraised is just too good. With the appearance of a magic train reminiscent of *Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken* and the cubes showing signs of personality, the world-building feels like it's expanding. I'm really looking forward to the battles in the Academy City next. I definitely want to see more!
