I heard Nissin actually provided the original footage from the first-ever Chicken Ramen commercial, and it really shows how much they care about getting the era right. I totally get why viewers might be startled when the CM suddenly pops up in the middle of the episode (lol). Kimōji Mutsuki transferred over from Shiny Lavender to Lotus Blossom, and he’s even gone through physical training for the role—it really gives off the vibe of a circus troupe member who’s fully committed. The comment about 'two heads, three heads' getting pumped up is spot on, and I feel like the muscle details stand out even more in color. With the retro movie theater and coffee shop date, it really captures that nostalgic atmosphere; it’s so soothing just to watch. And hey, did anyone else notice that background extra looking like Yusaku Matsuda? I’m excited for episode 12 next week!
