Watching Yomogi and Mameko’s Delicious Expedition team, whether they’re talking about flaring nostrils or kicking things, you can feel their energy bursting off the screen and it makes you smile. Yomogi’s vibe of just going with the flow as a healthy old lady felt super relatable. The chaos is real: there are grandpa and grandma inside the bumps, and those bumps contain gold and rice! With little old men and women also popping up in friends' bumps, you really have to keep track of who’s where. It was so chaotic I could barely process it for a moment. Plus, I totally get why everyone says Kuyo must stay away from Domino at all costs. She used to be just a harmless nuisance, but now that she has kids, she’s become a toxic parent—ouch. And with Kuyo getting super skinny again after her body temporarily recovered, both her physical and mental health are worrying. Even though this episode was about ayu fishing and they brought out the rods, they didn’t even use them! The sheer overload of content, including shiitake meatballs making an appearance, is such a classic Cookleun vibe that I love it.
