Episode 2
Episode 1 fully showcases the terrifying side of Prince Luca! The pig and bear get plenty of attention, and the anger toward the kingdom continues to build...
Everyone's Reactions
I saw a post saying they never thought they’d hear the line "Pigs can die" in the Reiwa era, and it really hit home. Plus, at first, they literally filmed him squealing like a pig, but then they re-shot it with him properly imitating a pig before killing him, and that version was adopted. The production team’s attention to detail is amazing. Lord Luca seems to listen to his Highland subordinates and treats them as "humans," so when he finds out only the incompetent ones are harshly treated, I realize he’s not just a mad king but has more depth. His line about his mother being the only issue feels a bit poignant, making me curious about what happens next. The end card features an insanely intense-looking jerk, and I laughed as soon as I saw it. Tii Funabashi’s illustrations are lovely too, so I’m looking forward to the next episode.
