Everyone's Reactions

The setting is that when you get drunk and fall asleep, you end up in this delirious town. I thought it was pretty nice how they sort people based on their level of intoxication—it’s a relief for those of us who don’t drink. But with the pool full of vomit and corpses stacked up everywhere, the screen gets pretty overwhelming. I found myself feeling a bit sorry for the viewers who stuck around watching this until past 3 AM. The Sensei did show up in this world properly, but it was kind of funny how everyone still politely called out to her as "Sensei" despite being so drunk. Their manners felt a bit off-kilter. I kept wondering if France really allows drinking at 18 while watching the animated drunkards—it gave off a slightly strange vibe. Looks like next episode will also premiere earliest on UNEXT, so I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of drunken world awaits next.
