Tomoru and Gekomon draw close to Wizardmon's heart-wrenching expression, and you can't help but feel a lump in your throat as the sheet music and programs intersect...!
Tomoru covering Gekomon with his body to protect him is just so touching. Mephismon appears with a female voice, and her backstory of being born from Apocalymon's lingering thoughts feels both ironic and bittersweet. As the two 'codes' of sheet music and programs intertwine, we're left wondering about Miharu and Chifuyu's whereabouts, and the story is definitely gaining weight. The final hand gesture in the ending, paired with Mirimira's melody, gives us a sense of hope for what's to come. I'm looking forward to the next talk show, but I'm also excited to see what new developments unfold as we head toward the climax of the GIFT arc.
