I felt like Cray and Uchida's relationship got a little deeper, and it was really interesting. Especially Cray's time in the military and how Uchida saved his life made me feel like their bond was strong. Also, learning that Cray knows about crawling on the ground gave me a sense of familiarity. Uchida seems pure and a bit like someone who's had their share of struggles, so I'm looking forward to what happens next. Plus, many people felt like they want to know more through the spin-off or novel, so the story seems to be expanding.
