Episode 3

Everyone's Reactions

The expression "freshly harvested" really hit the nail on the head with that one strike; it was the kind of scene that makes you want to shout out, "Hey, that's awesome!" I totally get the complaints about Kairi being called a physical keyboard while casually using a PS controller. In a world with nanomachines, I just assumed it was some high-tech device anyway. There are so many "Kane" anime this season it's honestly overwhelming. It feels like this genre has suddenly exploded, to the point where comments are calling it the second account-freeze anime of the year. The flow of being deceived but ultimately seeing through it and winning was satisfyingly clean, though the plot twists were probably bad enough to warrant a "That's ridiculously bad!" retort. Looks like next episode airs on Tuesday, November 3rd. I'm curious to see how Kairi's physical and tactical growth is portrayed.
