I was a bit taken aback when I realized the second cour had started and the OP had changed. Pickle has such a cute name, but it’s true that someone of his height wouldn’t fit in a regular ambulance. It’s so Baki-like to see him wake up not from a face slap, but from an image-guided slash to the neck—I couldn’t help but laugh. I love the contrast between Kozo Shioya expressing all the emotion through just his whimpers and the narrator coolly saying 'caught you ❤'. As for Musashi being unable to cut Pickle, it sounds fascinating with this clash of supreme technique vs. supreme physique. But isn’t it a bit unfair that he’s going serious against an opponent with no weapons or armor? The setting of him living in the sewers and hunting in Tokyo’s urban areas feels like reality and fiction are blending together, which is pretty cool.
