I was curious about the new character in Umeda-kun's story, but Sho Hayami's voice is so lovely that I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. They finally share their origin story, and seeing the past from 26 years ago really hits home with the line about family being something you can't choose. Despite all the death flags being set up, the baby's appearance brings a bittersweet dynamic between the brother and sister that tugs at your heart. The food segment makes you crave Welsh's omelet, and it's also kind of scary to learn that overusing Dofus's power causes him to merge with the dragon and lose his sanity. Joris-san enjoying some quiet tea time, along with Hiroyuki Kageyama's warm music, gives a nice moment to catch your breath.
