Episode 3

Everyone's Reactions

During the Premier League match against Kashiwa University Commercial, Akutsu was provoking everyone left and right. At first, I thought he was being a bit cocky, but it turns out that not falling for his provocations is what earns you respect as a well-rounded player. It really made me realize how important mental strength is during the game. The switch to a back three has me wondering how Kuribayashi will be utilized, and I can totally understand the sense of security people feel with Yuma on the field. Someone posted that the animation for the opening goal was insane, and I completely get it—the intensity of that moment really came through even through the screen. The line "I want to taste this pressure on the pitch" seems to symbolize Ashito's challenge as part of Team A, and now I'm super excited to see what happens next.
