Episode 1
The passing game took it to another level! A Team’s power is overwhelming, but Asato doesn’t back down.
Everyone's Reactions
After joining A Team, the line about their passing being on a whole other level really hit home. It’s easy to feel crushed by despair, but watching Asato refuse to give up is so protagonist-like and inspiring. I’m loving how Kurabayashi dominates the OP animation. Seeing him move around so mysteriously makes me want to know more about him. Otoyo has this adorable vibe of someone who doesn’t quite get it yet. Even though the seniors seem intimidating, his softness helps balance out the team dynamic. The C-part after the ED seems to have a continuous story each episode, so I feel like I need to watch until the end. The art quality improved even with the studio change, and A Team’s plays look cool, so I’m already looking forward to Sunday evenings. Shimura still doesn’t quite look like a high schooler, which makes sense. Surrounded by such imposing seniors, I can’t wait to see how Asato climbs up the ranks during the regular practice episodes.
