The 12th episode's Aoi assassination arc was a really heartwarming episode. It was really touching to see how Aoi met Taro while still alive and the bond that formed between them. Especially when I saw Taro trying to protect Aoi, I couldn't help but get a little teary-eyed. Also, Hajime's wide perspective was amazing. She stayed true to the historical facts and seemed to really take in all the people around her. When I watched the ED while seeing Aoi's way of life, I was moved a bit. Kondo's appearance was a surprise, and I think he was Aoi's savior. And the scene where Taro received Aoi's feelings with his sword really stayed with me.
