I couldn't help but grin when I realized the shark was actually riding on its ancestor, and the drool from the little shark kid was just too cute. The mayor of Love Cruise is so endearing with her slightly clumsy, 'about-to-crash-her-bike' vibe, but it's also reassuring to see her say, 'I raised him myself.' Meanwhile, Asibe watching his mom enjoy some street food felt wonderfully nostalgic, especially with Tomiko Kurosaki's voice. With the introduction of the sharp-eyed character and the three Pretty Cure girls, the world feels a bit more lively. Catch-up streaming has started, and with so much anime to enjoy during the summer break, I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
